Also picked up my 2nd oversized slab. I love the info on this medal.

These are the sellers images, I'll do mine when it arrives.
A set of Grand Casino Wildlife Series (1994-1995) and Wildlife Series II (1995-1996) collector coins. Each set includes four gold tone coins with wildlife scenes on the fronts, presented in red velveteen cases.

I saw these on eBay shortly before the election. I collect political counterstamps along with the U.S., Irish, numismatically-related, and contemporary stamps.

Not only is this an example of numismatic vandalism, it's just plain old stupid too.:wacky:

Well "numismatic vandalism" is essential to counter stamps and are collected in their own right.

Thanks, I saw that but I still don’t know who made the medal and how many. It’s hard to see but it is a proof strike. I wonder if it’s another National Commemorative Medal” made by the US Mint.

I don't think its U.S. Mint. Maybe contracted to a private Mint by the DOD and passed out to the members of this group? Just a guess. I have never seen one before.

Oh, I like counter stamps myself, I just don't care for bumper stickers on coins.
