2017 p penny die crack

    I'm not seeing any die cracks but I see some small retained interior die breaks along the top of the shields. Is that what you are talking about?
    That is a fairly common place for those to show up on shield cents.

    okay I will post more pics cause on Lincoln face it hose down his forehead with a few wall die chips.

    Not surprising since all the coins probably came from the same die. Pretty cool :)

    Die cracks and die breaks are as common on Lincoln cents as oil stains are on driveways.

    May very well be but these are 2017 p so I will hold on to them an keep UC.

    Holding onto them because they are the first and only year that the Philly mintmark will be used on Lincoln cents is one thing, but I'm just trying to make the point (to newbies) that die cracks and die breaks are nothing to write home to Mom about.

    Don't forget that they are Zincolns, so you should be careful how you store them.
