I love when folks come in with a question but really they aren't interested in anything other than having their bias confirmed.

Please send to a TPG, although I suppose if they call it a fake as well it still may not convince you.

 

The "fake" too good of a strike (if struck at all)? Looking at the definition of the front leg and the tufts of grass on the genuine ones the "fake" sure is high def (for a poor image).

I don't know what could have been more helpful. You learned you bought a fake that is the only information you needed here. Were you hoping someone had a video of your exact coin being made by the counterfeiter? Or would that still not be enough for you?

 

Yeah, this is probably the right fake. I cannot see why the fake in the link is not the $6.36 coin I bought. I have to hand it to you. The only thing is that the fake in the link doesn't look like a struck coin- but that's internet photos for you. The "fake" I bought looks more struck. Something else I can predict with 0% chance of error - The United States Men's National Team in soccer will NOT win next year's World Cup. Nor will Zimbabwe's.

 

The only way that will happen is if he wants to post a "See! I told you so!" Otherwise, if it is a fake, it is likely we will never hear about it. At least, that has been my experience on these forums for the last 7 years or so.
