Whoa! Check this out. While looking for more Great Falls toned Morgans, I ran across this. The same coin that was just recently posted. This was on Heritage Auction and sold in Feb. of '07.

Someone lost their bacon on this one.

Not so fast, that price includes 2 other coins. Anaconda paid $2185 and I purchased all three for $2500.

1881-S $1 MS64 ★ NGC, all three of these near-Gem with Star coins are from the Great Falls C... (Total: 3 Coins)

I still own the last coin, it is one of the flashiest Morgan Dollars I have ever seen.

All Heritage had up was the photo of this coin and what it sold for, so I assumed that the price was for the single coin.

    I stand corrected.

    Winner!
    I sold it for 245.
The modestly toned Battle Creek coins in 63 or 64 seem to sell in the $200-$300. Nicer examples, like those from @Lehigh96 are in a class of their own and sell for well above those numbers.

@jwitten go ahead and post next and we’ll let @KSorbo go later when ready.

I don't think I've posted this one.. just recently got it. Honestly?... No clue what a normal value would be, so good luck! haha
