    KM# 413 single year issue.

    This coin is not a new acquisition. In fact, it was in a desk drawer in my parent's house the entire time I was growing up. I think my father brought it back from France at the end of World War II. But, seeing your post made me think of it.

    I don't know how you find coins that look so nice. It's hard to believe that French coin looked that good straight from the mint.

    Two modern coins from my Tasmanian friend in the mining industry ....

    its nicer than it looks in the flip, but haven't changed it out to one of mine yet. Maybe Australia needs good quality flips over there? Might be an opportunity...for any dealer members.

    Added one to my US Minted set today. 1966Panama.jpg
    Does this look AU or UNC ?

    Also have a 1966 1/2 Balboa on the way...Also for my US Minted set.

    It looks UNC but with PVC contamination from whatever it was stored in. (JMHO)

    So it needs to be dipped? Not sure what I have (acetone) will remove PVC contamination.
