I've been lurking here for quite some time. So I'm stepping forward with my penny search find.
A couple weeks ago, after sorting through hundreds of pennies, I found this one and didn't know what was going on with it. I reached out to an expert and he was stymied as well. He reached out to his circle of experts and I received the response back. My understanding as well as his and his expert associates is that this is a 'greasy ghost' and is quite rare. The penny weighs within tolerance and so they determined it was not a split planchet. I can't figure out how to post my pictures of the penny. Here's the information on the 'greasy ghost' as well. Help to post the pictures would be terrific.

1.5 hours of my life, 20 additional miles on my car, and 7 banks across the heart of town yielded $11.50 in loose halves, $280 CWRs that look like someone’s dump, $160 worth of untouched MWRs, and 1 common circulated Ike.

There was a BU ‘65 in the loose, but I haven’t had time to search the wrapped rolls. I’ll update later.

    Happy Halloween (and hunting) everyone!

PS. Forgot to share the good news...I received a call from one of my favorite tellers telling me my 6 boxes of halves arrived. I’ll pick them up this weekend and will report next week!

Meanwhile I have 13 rolls of no worse than good copper.
I have 20 rolls ready to turn in.
And 30 rolls to go through starting when I get home from work.

Finished my 4 boxes of cents for the week. Average amount of wheats (oldest 17P), 3 older canadian (45, 53, 57) and that was about it. There was a nice 58D LWC though.

$190 in CWR, skunks, same dumper's roll markings as I've seen before.

$18.50 loose halves yielded a 1967 JFK and my first 90% from the wild, a 1964 JFK.

Thought pretty hard about buying a box of pennies.
But had 30 rolls waiting at home.
Found a very nearly perfect 63D.

Picked up $110 in CWR from BoA today, and found almost an entire roll of proofs:
    1971 - 1974
    Bicentennial clad
    Bicentennial silver
    1977 - 1978
    1979 x 2
    1980
    1981 x 2
    1982 - 1987

There was also an uncirculated silver bicentennial and a 1974 that looks very proof-like in the fields, primarily on the obverse.

I'm working on a perfect copper roll.
The ones that don't make that go into a good ++ roll.
I'm brutally selecting coins with which to make rolls to turn in.
Somebody will be getting pretty good copper that just doesn't make MY grade.

    Just finished another box of Loomis cents. Nothing earth-shattering but still some interesting finds. The typical assortment of 14 wheaties: 29, 35, 41, 42d, 44, 45, 46 x2, 47, 52d x2, and 55 x2).

But I found an unusually high number of canadians -- 44 in all. I live in the south so we see canadian coins on occasion but not frequently. And in a typical box, I'll get maybe a half dozen. But this box was full of them. Some rolls had 2 or 3 QE cents. Since we have a Loomis facility in Nashville, I guess its possible a box was transferred from a more northern facility where canadian coins can more commonly be found. Of the 44, only two were of interest: a 1967 centennial cent and a 1951 King George VI cent. I kept the '51 but threw the rest back.

Two boxes of halves yielded 2 40%ers. Kind of a lame week as I can only do 2 boxes. Hoping it will rain silver sometime soon!

Thank you everyone, I just had the most incredible Teller score today and I haven't even check my last four boxes for the week as of yet. I went to one of our drive up banks and asked for rolls of halves and they told me their other drive up bank had a bunch of rolls. So of course I went over there and asked and they had $510 in rolls. $240.00 in MWR and $260 in CWR, well the MWR had nothing, The Customer Wrapped Rolls, OMG I hit a jackpot. I was so excited I was shaking a bit. I scored 34-90%ers, 22-64's which I believe 4 are proofs, also 1-76S, 1-99S, 2-02S Silver Proofs, 7-Bennies all Proofs, 1-56 type2, 1-57, 1-58, 1-59,1-62, 2-63's, also 1-61 Bennie reg. 11-40%ers, 2-65, 1-66, 2-67, 1-68, 1-69, 2-70D. I also pulled 1-68S Proof and 1-69S Proof, and I believe the 66 and 67 I listed are SMS. If that wasn't enough, I also got 53 Clad Proofs, 1-71S, 2-72S, 1-77S, 1-78S, 1-79S, 1-80S, 1-82S, 2-83S, 1-84S, 1-85S, 4-87S, 2-88S, 2-89S, 2-91S, 1-92S, 3-93S, 2-94S, 2-95S, 2-96S, 1-97S, 1-98S, 2-99S, 1-00S, 1-01S, 2-02S, 2-05S, 2-06S, 1-07S, 4-09S, 2-10S, 1-11S and 1-12S, Plus 1-87P and 1-87D. This is the best Teller score I have ever come across. I hope you all don't mind all the pictures I have shared. I am just blown away that someone would just take these coins to bank for face value!
