Here you go Franks and Speedy, 4th one out of 6 boxes of Lincoln Cents searched. I think I'll go buy another 4 or 5 boxes tomorrow. Still waiting on an '83 DDR or '84 DDO. I know it's dirty but what do you think it would grade?

Thats great Dawg...Looks good to me, I'd say an AU

What would be the most common error you might expect searching Lincoln rolls?

I agree! Way to go Dave!

Jack...Probably filled numbers in the Date or filled Letters, although Die Misalignment Strikes are fairly common as well!

Yeah, I agree with Frank, after searching through thousands of cents, many have filled dates and even more so filled mint marks, which is kind of annoying for me because I can't help but stop my search and look at them through my loupe to see if they're RPMs, which they never are, but I can't stop looking anyway. I have found some pretty impressive die cracks, one in particular is on the reverse of a 1984 cent. There are four different die cracks, each one extending from each of the four corners of the Lincoln Memorial, almost forming an X. I'll post a pic later, I have to dig it out of a huge box of coins. BTW, are die cracks, gouges, die chips, etc. anything more than collectibles. For example, I have a lot of the "BIE" coins from the wheaties era and a 1936 cent with a die chip on Lincoln's nose, almost looks like he has a pimple. Anyway, please give me an opinion on the die cracks, etc. because I find an aweful lot of them and think I'll start holding onto them just for fun if I have the room

Wow- you've already found 4! You must have hit upon a nice supply of them. I say, keep buying those boxes! I would also suggest looking for the 1997 doubled ear and 1994 DDR if you're not already- I've had good luck with them.

    Dave:
    Nice catch.
Even tho they aren't worth much, at present, I would still love to find some (or just one).

How 'bout I send over some boxes that have been "unsearched by me, I just don't have the time to sort through all of these coins!" LOL--Courtesy of Ebayers that think we were born yesterday.

I laugh at the guy who sells the " Truly Unsearched " rolls, then allows you to pick which decade you want, lol.
