    UNC Details - Cleaned - $425

...I can see this one being AU, but think that the cleaning just makes it looks that way and it really is UNC

    AU Details- Cleaned $380

Looks to me someone tried to get rid of original toning which is a shame...

Ok, I'm calling it. I had a feeling nobody would get the details reason, as I sure don't see it - REPAIRED :wideyed:.

While everyone was close on the selling price, nobody was close on grade or details.

    And, it's a business strike.

Sold on GC for $393.75 w/BP, so @ron_c is the closest with his (earliest) guess of $400.

I don't have anything, so if someone else has something, go for it.

This is a coin that I watched sell today (didn't bid).
What do you all think? Grade? Price? Details or not? Reason?

Yup, now I see it in both posts. Could've been me, my internet's been a little wonky tonight.

    $200
MS - Details (Damaged from rolling machine is the only thing I can readily see, although I would personally disagree that the coin is damaged)

Going by the photo, I really don't see any reason this wasn't straight graded to me and it looks PL or DMPL and a Cameo appearance. I know this is a Details Thread, so going out on a limb.

    MS65 PL Cameo

    Straight Graded

    $550

I don't see anything that would give details grade but assuming it is being in this thread. I may have posted this earlier itt but was at my LCS a few months back and saw this absolutely beautiful 89-S looked 65 easy which is an expensive coin. It was in a "Damaged" PCGS holder and both me and the LCS owner looked over the coin with a loupe and found absolutely zero evidence of damage. His only guess was they caught something with the sniffer.

I almost wanted to buy it hoping it was a mechanical error and resubmit but he rightfully so still wanted a good amount for it and wasn't worth the gamble.
