It certainly does appear that a accident did occur at the Lincoln Memorial... Look at the upper right side on the reverse and you will see the damage.. Hope no one was hurt....Wonder how it happened? Any ideas?
That is really cool!! It looks like the result of a detached lamination being struck back into the host coin. Where did you come across this? @Fred Weinberg would probably be able to give a better answer, in case I am wrong.
I’d want to dip this in acetone to see if there’s any glue hiding in there. Hard to tell with the photos.
There are three things on the back. One on the top, middle, and bottom. Top and bottom looks PMD to me (but may be detached lams), middle looks like a nice lam.
He was certainly drunk dwhiz....I saw him trying to walk up the steps to his chair and he was All over the place....

Thanks Seattlite86 for catching it. You saved him some infraction points and a pointed note in red to read the rules.
Do you have a Walmart near you? You can get some 100% pure acetone there for pretty cheap. As well as any hardware store.
Hey Guys, I soaked the coin in Acetone for 24 hours, took it out and placed it in a fresh container of Acetone...Just dunked it in and out....What do you think? Wow....Thanks Guys cause I did not know that....I do have a Walmart near me and think I will stop up there later....I borrowed some Acetone from my neighbor but I don't think it was the greatest ....
