Not to pile on, but what exactly are you talking about? I see no evidence of anything remotely resembling a "cud" much less a "cud type".

That said, there was a time where any solid unc 50-D could usually bring $15 in a face-to-face retail setting, but if this has changed or not I do not know. Anything beyond this would require quality photos of both the obv and rev.

    I paid $9 for an MS-63, I think it's worth more.
I had one as a kid that I found in circulation. Lost/ destroyed in a house fire,
so I wanted to get another one. 40 years later I did.
Got a circulated one off the Bay that I like.
I had one. Then I had none. And now I have 2. Life is good.
    Also don't see a cud.

Cuds occur on the rim. Your coin looks damaged.

not necessarily..the New Mexico state quarter has cuds that are on the top of the state border line..and if you go to this site.. Cuds on coins.. well it will definitely show that they dont always happen on the rim

Cuds only happen in relation to the rim, the roof has taken damage and moved the metal. Die breaks happen on the interior of the coin

Nice die break on that quarter. Cuds on coins lists die breaks and cracks too!
