Don't clean it. Leave it alone.
Show us the Obverse side also.

I like it just the way it is. Don't do anything. It will look boring then. Just my opinion.

I'm not 100% sure if it's natural toning some people thought it was artificial and one person whose opinion I really respect said that I got to lighten it up cuz it's too dark to be overly make it look nice and get the most money out of it possible

Do Not clean, dip or anything else...leave it be.
If you don't like it why not sell it and get one you like.

Yes.. You already established that you respect this person.
I respect my mom, she tells me to put sugar in my coffee to make it taste better. I prefer no sugar! I go against her suggestion but It doesn't mean I am disrespecting her!
    Natural toning is beautiful :shame:

If you like another coin better, consider working out a trade, but please do not mess up that coin by changing its appearance.

I would buy a coin that looks like that. I would NOT buy it if it were cleaned to be blast white.

I don't think the coin will dip well. It would kill the luster.

I too would NOT clean it, as has a pretty subtle tone to it the way it is. I also wouldn't clean any coin.

@1916DMerc, right now you have a decent-looking, slightly-circulated 1921 Peace Dollar. It looks like it should look. Anything you do to that coin, since it shows those slight signs of circulation, will stand out instantly to any seasoned numismatist. It would fool people, but only those ready to be fooled. You were ill-advised by your "respected" friend, who has yet to learn that the hardest part of cleaning a coin is choosing the right one to do it to.

    This isn't the right one.
