And you say this Books because Breast cancer can also be found in men as well as women? Cancer no matter where found in a body of any animal ,undiagnosed will take a toll. That's why awareness is so important. Being aware is a start....family history, and seeking regular physicals are so important to catch it in the early stages.
With how much attention breast cancer gets in the media, sports, and politics, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was the only type of cancer.
Most likely, 'rose gold'. Just add some more copper to the concoction. I'll probably be in for one......
Considering that many of these women end up with mastectomy's...that probably would be in poor taste.
My bet is that copper will make up most of that special alloy. Some of the Black Hills Gold has a very pink color to it and its achieved with copper. They get their pink color with a blend of 75% gold (18k) and 25% copper. So I guess if then plan to sell them as 1oz of gold they will have to be 25 percent larger. Personally I won't buy 1oz of 18k gold.
In the link @baseball21 posted it gives the actual specs the mint is using 'Specifications Composition: 85 percent Gold; 14.8 percent Copper, Balance Zinc Diameter: 0.850 inches Weight: 7.931 grams Mintage Limit: 50,000 across all gold product options'
Partly, yes... because it is usually depicted as being a female-only concern. However, and on a much less serious note, it was also meant to mimic the feigned outrage that is everywhere today, and often seems more important than the greater and obvious point behind whatever is being questioned. edited
Well they do say that it will be a pink TINT, not that it will be pink. So a slight tint is all they are really trying for. The zinc is probably to whiten the gold some to make the pink tint from the copper stand out a little better. Those percentages given are based on weight, but when you look at the composition based on volume of the different metals 43% of the volume is copper and zinc.
