Secret Santa 2017...?

Are we planning on having another one this year? I recall that it was around this time of year in October that the news goes out, and sign-ups are available. Last year, @Kirkuleez organized it and maybe he'll be doing it this year, too (?). Or maybe I'm a little early since it isn't even Halloween yet, but I prefer to have more time with this.
Can I pre-sign up? lol

Last year I got my person a PRooF-70 coin and I think I'm going the slabbed route again depending on the person's interests, of course. Can't wait to think of what to get!

Still seems kind of early, but doesn't telling what you're going to get or have gotten in the past give away the 'secret' part?

 

Christmas decorations have been in stores for a good month now. @Kirkuleez is late!

 

I guess we have to wait and see if he's volunteering to do it this year. Last year I think it took quite awhile for him to match us after initial sign up so we may want to determine if we need another volunteer to organize things first if he's too busy.

 

Nah, I think there were others that gave away PR-70 coins, too.

Plus, I can always switch it up, and also new people can give PR-70 coins, so I'm not worried about others thinking they got it from me. Maybe it'll even get people excited to join in this year.

 

I could do it again, or if someone else would like to do it, that’s fine too. Let me know how you guys would like to do it. One rule though, no gifts for me though, I felt guilty that I got so much last year. I swear I only sent out to one person, but industrious and overly generous CT members found out where I was.

Is there rules to this @Kirkuleez? It sounds like it would be fun to do.

 

1) I think it's better you do it unless you absolutely cannot as it would be best to keep everyone's names and addresses with as few people as possible unless absolutely necessary.

2) We can't make any promises on gifts

I say that it’s time for an overhaul, because there are just too many and some have become unnecessary. As you can see, the other members showered me with gifts last year. I’m not even sure why, I am the worst at everything.

 

It sounds like fun! I never get numismatic gifts from my family.

I opted out last year because of my daughter being born right around the same time. I think I'm in this year. I might even have an idea for who I would like to get, if that's possible.

I'm in. It's a great time and I've been looking forward to it. I know that it's alot of work and headaches and responsibility to organize this. You put in work bud, and deserved those gifts.

 

Yeah, think of it as gifts for organizing this. It makes a great incentive.
