Thanks. The Vikings were a practical lot. Their trading brought them to many other sources of currencies this they see little need for their own unless as a symbol of authority and legitimacy to rule.
Magnificent coin! Hard to find and when appears, expensive! Congrats! There are some Vikings hoards in Baltic that are found some islamic dirhans of Al-Andaluz. This shows how much the Viking trade was expanded and established between the VIII and X centuries on Western Europe.
Thanks. These are fairly scarce and delicate.. good condition ones are pretty hard to find. Just had to have an artefact representing the Vikings.. given their significance and impact I history.

Mostly English but I have a few French coins as well. The ones that have appealed to me lately are the Anglo-Gallic coins.
