The right (back shoulder) just needs some detail between the rifle and the arm to make it look less awkward. I will be interested to see how it looks when it comes out.

It is a shame for the medals you will have to buy one of these for every medal though

I really like the reverse, but I don't like the obverse. The position of the soldier is awkward and the nose of the soldier is off as well.

Hmmmm. Well, since my Granddaddy went "over there" with Pershing, I'll have to have one (hopefully proof).

I think it is just another way to rip off collectors, as are all the other NCLT coins.

Collectors aren't being ripped off for having different interests

That does need some touching up, doesn't it?

I believe its one eye which is supposed to represent pain. The concept is good, but there are definitely some awkward parts of the design that will hopefully be cleaned up

The subject line ask for my thoughts. Am I not allowed to express them if they differ from yours?

Why feel the need to be critical of what someone else likes to collect just because you don"t? The majority of collectors of such material are well aware of price trends of mint vs aftermarket purchases.

The reverse with the poppy flowers and barbed wire is very moving. The obverse image of the soldier appears to have some anatomical problems and looks unnatural—needs some work. It's interesting and thank you for posting it, @BlackBeard_Thatch !

I wanna see it in metal and not mock up drawings and renderings. That'll be the true test.......

The flowers on the reverse are reminiscent of 'All Quiet On The Western Front', when (at the end of the novel) Paul reaches out to grasp something beautiful (in a sea of disgust) and gets shot........
