I would return both and leave no feedback.

Well, I tried returning the damaged one for the sight unseen price ($120), and the seller complained, saying that one was actually the cheaper one ($110, but $87 after eBay Bucks). Not that I could tell the difference from the coins and photos, but it obvious the $110 does not have a divot on the reverse.

I am returning both. I've had enough of his BS

Before you just send them back, you need to open a INAD (Item Not As Described) case. This will CYA, and make sure you don't have to pay for return shipping or anything else, and you can then leave 'appropriate' feedback that ebay will not remove under any circumstances.

Intentional switch. Showing better coins to make the sale, then sending less expensive coins at inflated prices.

Already did. And seller has sent me a label. Let's see if he accuses me of switching the coins out.

When I did the returns, I included my pictures. Since he did not say that they were not the coins, I should be fine.

Dang, @TypeCoin971793, for as much good luck you have on eBay, you have equal amounts of bad luck. :(

Which is why my "mood" is perpetually the same.

Some well-meaning folks give these types of sellers too much leeway. If it looks like he switched out coins, he probably did.

It is sellers like these making it difficult for the honest sellers on eBay that run into a scheming buyer. Everyone with integrity winds up losing.

Well someone left him negative feedback for listing a 24-S Peace and sending a different one than what was in the listing....

Agreed entirely. Not even close to what he pictured.

Personally, I would never keep them, just on general principle and because I would always have a "bad taste in my mouth" over how I bought them. And he should pay for the return shipping, too.

    But YMMV, of course.

I have returned the coins and gotten a refund. Luckily eBay was kind enough to give me my eBay Bucks back.
