I bought these two 1921 Peace Dollars on eBay from these images:

Here is what arrived. The contact marks do not match either of the above coins.

Request a refund. Open a SNAD case.
SNAD = Significantly Not As Described. This has NOTHING(!) to do with the Returns Policies presented in listing's "Shipping and payments" tab and/or sellers TOS! Real/actual/true SNADs are seller's responsibly to resolve regardless of Return Policies indicated in the listing. Significantly Not As Described means the item buyer received is wrong, damaged, or different from the seller's description - http://pages.ebay.com/buyerprotection/buyerFAQ/index.html

Did the auction say you would get the specific coin shown or did it indicate a generic picture? I assume the former as I cannot believe you would buy the latter, but I just want to make sure.

The question then comes down to do you believe the coins you got are worth what you paid for them. If not, open a case. If so, then it is your choice.

The seller had multiple listings for 1921 Peace Dollars, each with a different coin pictured. Even though the seller did not explicitly state "Pictured coin is the coin you will receive", I think it is fair to assume such is the case.

Were the pictures all different? Some do use stock photos on everything, it's also possible they just sent the wrong ones by mistake having multiple listed. Without seeing the listings or seller there's several ways it could have happened without being a switch.

At the very least send them a message that you got the wrong coins and see what they say

Wrong coins shipped. What is the seller ID? I want to look through and see if he mixed the coins up by accident. You have to show a picture of the actual coin for sale on ebay. Open not as described case, for sure.

    Yikes. Not even close.

Personally, I'd contact the seller first to let them know (and give them a chance to make it right, could have been an honest mistake) and then file the SNAD if they respond with anything other than an immediate refund or replacement with the correct coins.

The good news here is that the system is heavily weighted on your side for stuff like this.

I contacted the seller before starting this thread. I just wanted to be sure I was not seeing things.

They were all different when I was buying. The $102 one was listed after I bought the two in the OP.

    Seller's reply:

One is borderline nice, so I think I will keep one and return the other (the one with the divot on the reverse).

These pictures are closer to in-hand apprearance:

You stated that the seller had several 21 Peace up for sale. There's a slight chance they messed up and sent the wrong coins to the wrong winners.
The reason I say this is years ago I purchased a 8 reales cobs from a seller who had 3 up for sale.
As crazy as this seems he shipped all 3 cobs sold to the wrong buyer or winner of said auction. "No Kidding" what a mess as what would the chance be that all 3 would return the incorrect cob,and the seller getting the correct coin to the correct buyer?
I would wait for their reply and from that decide your best course of action.
Yes a real PIA but things do happen.....as you can see as none of the coin match what you paid for......good luck

Those aren't even close. I'd return them just on principal. You purchased what looks like MS coins and received XF coins. If you're happy with the one, I'd at least ask to purchase it at a discounted price.

I have less than $90 in it. I certainly did not pay UNC money for them.

He did not accidentally ship the wrong coins. He scammed you. Open not as described, and leave negative.

If you keep it, still leave neg, in my opinion.

I have to disagree there. Negs shouldn't be left if someone decides to keep something

Shipping a different coin than pictured... intentionally?
