Finished up another box of nickels last night. Found the typical early Jeffersons:
    1938, 39 (x2), 40, and 41. Another 21 dated between 1946 and 1959. One was a 47-S which was the first pre-55 'S' I've found in a LONG time.

Also found a nice Fine 1938D Buffalo. Interestingly, it was found in the same roll as the 38 Jefferson, although they weren't next to each other (that would have been way too strange). That makes two Buffalo's found in the previous two boxes.

6 boxes of halves this week were a bit of a surprise. 2 were almost solid 94P again and another was heavily marked with “HM6”. But out of the 6 boxes I still managed to come away with
    1 reverse ender proof 05S
    9 40%ers
    And 20 90%ers including a 62D Ben.
    8.56oz :)

I'm pretty happy with it :)
Considering the last 2 weeks were skunks.

I went to the second bank in town to exchange 10 rolls of pennies. Got several rolls of same like 73D, 78D, 82D and 68.
Got a better 82D zinc small date. But everything else was no better than what I had. Got 20 more Loomis penny rolls at our bank. Found a 48S in a Loomis roll.

    Finished a box of nickels:
    2 War (44P, 45P)
    1 Can 5c
    1 UK 20p

1 more box and I will be off nickels for awhile. Moving back to cents. Looking forward to it :)

Box of halves was a skunk. Have two more boxes for Thursday. Need to see some silver rims.

I think it's strange that I got a few weeks pretty dry and then have a week that is ~7-8oz. Then back to dry for a few weeks and another ~7-8oz.

It's boom or bust for me too. A couple of weeks ago it was raining silver.

I've yet to have it rain silver but I've had my share of good weeks. Still waiting for a monster box.

Me too on the monster box. 8oz in one week is raining silver for me. I've never had more than that.

4 banks tonight yielded someone’s $200 worth of dumped halves :hungover:

... and, at 1 of the banks a teller had 2 Ikes. He asked another teller if she had any Ikes and she said no. Then the vault teller sauntered by and sheepishly admitted she had a personal stash of them in the vault. She offered to get them and I explained I would understand if she’d rather keep them for herself. She smiled and brought out the 33 she had. Unfortunately, I was down to my last $25 cash and I had nothing in my bank account, but she was kind and offered to allow me to pick and choose 25 of them. I quickly sorted out the 25 with the brightest edges (there weren’t any silver edges), and bought them. No silver, but 4 BU coins so I’m satisfied.

Some tellers are really friendly and helpful :)
