1964-D Quarter...Lip Error?

    I am just wondering if anyone knows if this is a legit error on the '64-D quarter. It might just be damage from everyday use but i dont know. I just want to be sure! Thanks!

    But, by judging the condition I will call it PMD.

    Welcome to the neighborhood!

    By lip, I assume that you are referring to the rim. It looks like circulation wear to me, too.

    It looks like the rims, particularly on the reverse, were abraded at one time.
