    Hi everyone,
I’vE done a lot of reading on the 83 cent due to the copper-zinc error but I have something different. Because of the popular error I can not find anything on this and I am hoping for some help and or guidance. I have one that is dotter or speckled with extra metal. I do not believe it is a copper metal combo but have never come across one like this before.

Welcome to CT. Looks like a combination of blisters and zinc rot. Not really an error, just one of out modern crummy cent coins.

    Thank you for the help.
Blisters? I can tell you that the dotting is solid metal. Is that considered blisters.

Plating bubbles? The zincs are junk.

How would you know if they are blisters or solid?

I can’t get them off or pop them. I’m sorry but I am new at this. When you say blister I was thinking hollow. Am I wrong?

Yes, blister would be hollow, but they are so small and are a blister in a copper sheet, so they would be hard to flex or "pop"

Yes. Get him to ER, he needs to see a coin doctor.
