Completed and published my digital album of coinage from the Republic of South Korea.
Special thanks go to @mlov43 for his inspiration and help with my collection and his invaluable resources and knowledge of South Korean coinage. Also thanks to @Hiddendragon for providing me with a lead to find the last coin I needed to complete this collection.

Now I need a new project.

FASCINATING coin albums!!!!! I love your exhibits! That makes me want to go and get one of each of those albums now and complete them, too. I must compliment you on your amazing exhibit.

I wish that you could go out and get one. They are created digitally, not available in a hard copy. Created using Photoshop. All you need is the coins.

It's fun because as one turns the pages we see the coins as they truly are. It would be handy to not have to turn my computer upside down to study the reverse of the coins! LoL! But this way we know that the reverses of these coins are not in the same orientation as the obverses. Some coins DO have obverse and reverse sides in the same up/down orientation.

    I enjoyed your albums also.
If you are looking for another project and enjoy Asian coins. I love the ancient Korean coins. They go all the way back to b.c. - Josean dynasty period, I think. You may check out the CT ancients forum. I know there are some who concentrate on ancient Asian coins - Korea? I'm not sure. Anyway, just an idea.

Good eye, and there is a reason for that. The Commemoratives have "medal" alignment instead of "coin" alignment on the South Korean Coins. It seems to make them look "out of place". I actually prefer to display so that they can be viewed normally, but that goes against how they would look if you were viewing in a "real" album.

That's a cool presentation! Is that a template and is there an option to click on the coins to enlarge?

Lower right corner gives option to view full screen. Also has bar to expand view.

I hate to be the sour lemon here as I know doing one album takes quite an effort. My first impression is that this was rushed - some coin position look misaligned, i.e. the middle column for some coins.

There's something about the 10 won variety that I can't quite agree on. I'm aware the information is from Krause. I'm not aware of copper plated aluminum 10 wons 2006 - 2009 being a different type from 2006 to present. They look the same size as the older type despite being much smaller.

Good choice of coin photos - I like the commemorative coin page at the end.

Based on my copy of Krause, which I agree is not always definitive. they show 2006-2009 in Aluminum- Bronze as KM# 33.2a and in Copper-Clad Aluminum for 2006 to date as KM# 103. Visually I don't see much difference from the Two. Since the weight and diameter are the same it's hard to tell apart. The 2006 I purchased was advertised as 33.2a and I took it on faith that it was correct. I do think I may have used the wrong size for the coins. the 2 coins should appear about 22% smaller. That I will correct. Don't know how I missed that.

I don't know about rushing things. This took me over 40 hours to complete. I used the X and Y axis on the grid to align the coins on each page. The last page IS off kilter compared to the others due the size difference of the commemorative coins. I did the best I could to fit them in the page. Best I could do. When your eyes get to be 65 years old and you have cataract surgery, you will understand how slight details will become more difficult.
