    Wow Phoenix!

That quote you posted really instills confidence now doesn't it?!

To give the seller some credit, he really makes it clear that he doesn't care and that the buyer should bid accordingly. That's being pretty honest, but also points out that I wouldn't want to ever buy anything from that seller sight unseen.

i could go either way on this one, almost looks like an S. or a really messed up D. If I had to guess, I think I would actually go with an S.

Honestly I can barely see the 4 and didn't even bother to look at the reverse until just now. Real NICE D!

Def a "D" because an "S" doesn't have the "D" curved line, and that pic obviously does have the curved "d" line.

Mabey he was looking at the "s" in cents. That's the only s I see.

its definatly a D. i think that actually a pretty good deal, even though it is pretty worn.

This is what I don't understand and what makes me think it could be an S. Why would he go out of his way to lie and say it is an S when a D is worth much more?

My thought exactly, I guess he one doesn't know that much about coins (which is obvious) and two, people just naturally suspect the S's are worht more, cause they aren't used to mint coins for circ anymore, along with other reasons. But, there will always be ignorant people out there.

    Phoenix
