1968-S cent hub doubling?

    Shown is obverse and close-ups of a 1968-S cent pulled from roll searching. It displays some form of doubling (?), I'm guessing offset hub doubling or pivoted hub doubling, both in a north direction. I would appreciate comment on what you all think it is, hopefully the photos are clear enough.

    Note the ridge along the N end, through the tops of the letters. Also, Lincoln has an extra chin and nose profile.

    The only part of the date I see doubling is on the 9.

    LIBERTY shows an upward spread, but even, not rotated from the center.

    Looks like mechanical doubling to me because of the flat, shelf-like appearance especially on Lincoln and the T on LIBERTY.

    Nice photos, by the way!

    Thanks, and 'shelf-like appearance' does well describe what I see in hand.
