Help with a 1977 D penny please

    I am relatively new to this and would appreciate any advice you all have on this 1977 d penny I've found.

    Misaligned die strike is all I see.

    Thank you. It has a weird thick feeling but weighs 3.0 grams.

    That looks like glue on it across the back of his head and into the field. Do you have nail polish remover? That should take it off without damage to the value of the coin if it's glue.

    The cost of the acetone is more than its value, unless it's the find that's important.

    If you have a copy of the book, "Strike It Rich With Pocket Change", put the cent between two of the pages, and throw them both in a wishing well.
