I see no cleaning marks, Liberty's profile is frosty, and I see little to no wear. But... I also don't see mint luster, but that could just be me. It almost looks proof-like in hand. I don't really do nickels of any kind, and grabbed his as a type coin.

I'd appreciate a grade, and if you see any problems with the coin. Thanks!

I am not a grader, but I do see what may be a Die Crack

I say AU 58 it does have some wear on the devices. The 83 Liberty nickel doesn't on average have a lot of luster, with most better looking coins falling into the Au low MS grade range. There is something in the denticles between the 3 and 13th star.
Looks like a line running through the teeth. There's several die cracks one from start 1 through the date ,this is common for this date and series

    Maybe a die scratch?

Is this worthy of submitting? I'm doing the ANACS fall special ($9), and this is a potential candidate.

Not a variety, and imho not worth submitting these are quite common and again in low grade ms and au.

Average comes to 61.75, so how many would agree with 62? :p
