This, I got this past Sunday, at a local show. NTC graded it '64, and I think they're pretty 'on' with this one, but the original packaging set the hook.
You are doing great on those COMMONS Green 18. If you are ever out here in GOD's country (SO-CAL) stop by the OLD COIN DAWG coin bone yard I like trades.
Shoot. Swiateks book is not at hand at the moment, but I suspect they all had some sort of original packaging. Maybe, with the exception of the Columbian, which was offered at the Chicago Exposition.
Not earth shattering but a nice honest 1828 half cent, 12 star version that I picked up at my LCS today.
@Pickin and Grinin It would be awesome to see a family photo of all your 38-D's at some point. Must be a great collection to view.
Couple of dirt fishing trips. The walker was a pleasant surprise and the 1/3 1916 merc was a disappointment. Might have been a D? Never know now. Sorry the photos are sideways and disregard the foreign coin. No idea what it is.
