I was searching some of my nickels and noticed this nickel is very strange First off it has a very interesting green patina on the obverse but not on the rim nor the reverse. Aside from that, the edge is much thicker than a typical nickel, around or slightly bigger the size of a proof nickel rim. I would think due to that it would weigh more than the standard 5g but instead it weighs less, at 4.93g. The obverse lettering is very thick also, which makes me think its DDO, what do you guys think?

There also is some doubling visible on the 6 and the Y in LIBERTY.

Circulation wear and tear on a 54 year old Nickel.
I see damage (face area) on the Obverse which makes me think that the letters and number were smooshed a bit. The color is due to Environmental toning.
The Y could be Die Deterioration Doubling.
    IMHO

Thanks everyone. You guys were right about the Y being MD but I have just confirmed the coin to be WDDO-006.
