    There are no listed doubled dies for 1979 Philadelphia pennies

    Thanks Ty. I would have missed that one for sure. I have saved some 2006 for their doubled die in the statue bay so I'll check those out and be on the lookout. It does appear almost as a hair line but it's listed, so it's for real.

    You should check the 1979 out with @Fred Weinberg and see what he thinks? I'm not sure on this one.

    Yes, that is correct I couldn't remember the year off the top of my head. But, I see @tommyc03 corrected the year to 1997. The coin looked similar to the doubled ear lobe I had seen in the RedBook. If y'all say it took a hit then a hit it took.
