I think 2004 had that doubled ear feature. There is a site somewhere that has these doubled ear cents posted. Google "Doubled Ear Lincoln Cent" or some similar search words. That should pull up the site. If the coin is in bad shape then the doubled ear doesn't add much value.

 

To me doesn't look like doubling but I'm new to this I'm sure alot of the professionals will know for sure but I love the grease filled dies.

Sorry to sound like a Killjoy but it just looks like it took a hit at just the right spot. I am not aware of any doubled ear for the 2000 + time period. The last I recall is the 1997P.

I was talking to tommyc03 cause he said there are no doubled ears for Lincoln cents in 2000+. Showing him what to keep an eye out for lol and your grease penny won’t have much value if it’s got that gross stuff above his head. I wouldn’t buy it for a penny lol.
