Friend gave me this

    At school today my friend gave me a 1944 canadian coin... he wanted to know what it was worth and asked if I would buy it from him. What type of coin is it and what is it worth?

    Haha I dont think the images will work, I will have to post pics on my computer later tonight. I think it is a dime, it would be silver right?

    Just look at it; what does it say?

    It was in my backpack and I was on the bus when I posted this haha

    It is a cent but its silver colored?

    I believe that a 5c from '44 is .800 silver. Give him a buck for it.

    Actually a 1944 Canada Victory 5 cents is steel coated nickel with chrome plating. This coin should stick to a magnet.

    Can't give you value without photo's, but I will say it would have to be in AU (Almost Uncirculated) condition or above to be worth a buck or more.
