Identification help needed

    Having a little bit of trouble finding these, any help is appreciated.

    The first is a provincial of Claudius,20mm 3.4g

    That top Claudius reverse looks a bit like an Altar type, I have done a few searches but nothing coming up at moment. I will keep trying. No help with bottom one, I've had no dealings with Byzantine sorry.

    The top coin looks similar to this Tiberius from Smyrna, Ionia:

    Could be Drusus or Germanicus as they have similar portraits to Claudius, but if someone can read the obverse legend it's probably on it.

    Hey RG, I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that your Byzantine coin is Alexius III.

    Here's mine...

    Yes Alexius III, sb 2011,12, or 13 the inscription is not present. Here is my 2012.

    I read KLAYDIOS KAI starting at 8:00.

    Thanks for that, I know KAISER is greek for Emperor, and on some Claudius coins the letter C is replaced by K and second last letter U is replaced by O, so looks like it is a Claudius. Any idea what city?
