That is equal to $230 billion face value. That is equal to $322 billion material value (as of 2016, when penny costs 1,4c.) That is equal to $0... (Has anyone figured out what you/they are saying/doing?) Who are harming pennies? These figures are fake? Who are fooling who?
Yeah, I read that at the bottom too. Other funny thing is this was written in August 2016 so the timelines have passed in the article already. Plus I would make no cents, I mean sense. Many circles are moving more cashless but many circles are still hard stuck on cash, even around the world.
This article gets reposted from time to time I've seen it on a couple different forums since it was first published last year. Notice the date when they say the last of the cents will be minted, April 1st 2017. It was an early April Fools joke.
