That's about right for the market. Were it "white," that's MS64. Dip it and re-submit it, you'll see. ;)

Yeah, with what's been showing up with GTG I feel like I have to overgrade one point to get it right. I have been going over the ANA Grading Standard a lot lately, maybe that is why.

Listen, these TPGs were just as "professional" 20 years ago as they are today. Yet, their grades today are all higher, what does that tell you? These are market grades. That means, they change with these TPGs' perception of the market. That means, they're appraisals, stooging as "grades."

If you're doing that, you've got the hang of it, because they're all grading higher. :)

There are many reasons for adding a coin to your collection, Ed.
Photos are opinions. And very difficult to judge unless the coin is in your hand.
    I really enjoy playing GTG!
It has sharpened my grading skills.
    Thanks ya'll!

You're welcome! It's our pleasure, really. Just never forget, never take these market grades seriously. A monkey can market grade like these TPGs grade. Hell, it's just what's pretty to them. Eye appeal is the whole ball of wax, these days.

    @eddiespin,
+1 Although merit alone, is like politics,
    S- strike
    L- Luster
    E- Eye appeal
    C- Contact marks

And a big gulp as I click the mouse.:)

Does CAC take the + into consideration when deciding to,/not to bean a coin?
    Or...
do they only judge it by the numerical number assigned to it
    Or...
Without the + (same coin, and grade) would this have gold beaned?

They ignore the + and judge the coin based on the numerical grade only.
