    It's probably from Malloy et al, Coins of the Crusader States.

    It's a wonderful book, I wish all medieval references looked like CCS.

    That is good to hear. I've always wanted to pick up a copy, but haven't yet. There always seems to be another coin or book that eats up my finds.

    Excellent! I'll have to keep my eyes open for a copy of that book. Sadly, it appears to be selling for $120.00 used on Amazon right now. Oiy. I could get another Denier for that! Oiy again.

    :happy: If I have to choose, IMHO :bag:, ma pal, books first, no doubt. Without a solid background knowledge the coins are just metal pieces, with no soul. Why do ye want a Ferrari if ye don´t know how to drive? ;):bookworm:
