Here is the link to those.

I'm glad you brought this up. I just noticed these REDs a couple weeks ago and got my 1952 proof out. It sure appears to be re-engraved, but doesn't match any of the ones on Variety Vista. I don't think yours matches any either. It for sure doesn't look like FS-402. It also doesn't look like mine. I wonder if the mint re-engraved all the 1952 proof dies? I haven't contacted James Wiles yet to get his thoughts. If you don't mind, I'll take an image of mine and put it up here too. Don't want to hijack your thread without your permission though.

    Very neat coin!!

Edit: Yours does look a lot like 007 - http://varietyvista.com/04a JN DD Vol 1/1952PRED007.htm

    That's it! RED-007. Thank you @jay4202472000

@SorenCoins - The '53 and '54 Jefferson Proofs appear to have Re-Engraved ribbon varieties. Also, the '53 Proof Lincoln cent has a Re-Engraved vest variety. These REDs are new to the Cherrypickers' 6th Edition of Volume I.

After doing some research looking at images on PCGS Coinfacts, I believe this IS a normal design, maybe just weakly struck in that area or over polished. If not the normal design, it's a much more common re-engraved die than the listings on Variety Vista. 2 of the 3 PR68s on the Coinfacts page looks like mine, just a little stronger. The second PR68 shown is RED-004. It's a beauty. See here: http://images.pcgs.com/CoinFacts/82400580_62416590_max.jpg

Crazy. I've never seen so many die polish lines on the devices.
