My dealer sent off this cutting error note for me on 4/28/17 to PMG, and it just came back. It was a note I posted in here back in February that I had pulled out of a fresh strap from work. I wasn't sure if it would straight grade since it had a slight tear and it had some wrinkles from humidity. I guess I could day I am glad it straight graded, but graded lower than I hoped. Very nice. The bill didn't grade with a tear. That tells me that the tear is part of the cutting error. The tear occurred on the high speed press and was attached to the bill above and to the right of the tear causing it to look as you found it. A very nice error to a newer bill.
The tear I am talking about is in the top right when looking at the obverse. It wasn't there when it was fresh in the strap. I think my employee did that small tear when showing me the bill. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
It would have been nice if it made it to 64, but with the tear and the apparent black Ink bleed that,s just not possible, unfortunately grades of 60-63 our grades of "DEATH" actually i would prefer A/U 58 over those !

The error for sure is cool however the grades i mentioned are generally not That desirable, people tend to frown on those, they just dont have a good ring To them is all.
To each is own i guess, even though the 63PPQ designation is higher, there isnt A huge difference and at least to me AU58PPQ sounds way better, when you go To sell especially, just my opinion and two cents.
I understand. It's the same with coins, which is what I primarily collect. If I got an MS63 on a brand new coin, I would crack it and spend it, unless it was a really cool error. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Here,s my one and only error, dont really collect them, and cant even remember When or where i got it...LOL But if i did send it in would probably go 66PPQ, bottom boarders are a little weak.
