While you are correct, idk a single collector who would pay a premium for this style Anacs slab. Dont get it twisted though, me and quite a few others LOVE these style anacs slabs. Most dealers balk at them though, and will talk the coin down if you are attempting to sell
These ones not as much as the old ANA ones but you can definitely find some gems in these style holders too and people seem to love them. $340
1921 with toning. That date is rarely found rainbow toned naturally, so it's worth a significant premium.
Winner! And I need to send it to you for better pictures! I paid $290 for it, which I thought was a steal! Toned, plus old white anacs holder!
Woohoo!! I'm up to 3 now, look out @ddddd I have you in my sights. If you quit now, I'll catch up by mid 2019. Give me a moment to locate a good one. I know I have a few around here.
Here's a 1940-S Mercury Dime. It's graded MS-65 in a small white ANACS Holder. It's still in my collection so you will have to guess what I paid for it. It has a bisecting 6:00 to 12:00 die crack that runs from rim to rim. PCGS lists a non-FB 65 at $33.00 and a FB 65 at $95.00.
25 ....I'll say you got it from someone who doesn't value Anacs and thought this was just a "widget" ...I like it!...the toning is subtle but really accentuates the coin...I would guess it would sell for multiples of your purchase price
