It's worth one cent... You're thinking of the 1983 copper penny, which is made of the wrong composition and weighs 3.1 grams. The penny you have is a regular penny.

If you have a 82 small date and a bronze planchet, it's worth a couple of bucks ..

They didn't make the 1982-D SMALL DATE in copper, at Denver.
I think that is what he is trying to say.
I can't tell but it is most likely that your 1982-D is the LARGE DATE
    and worth 1 cent.
12 BILLION cents were minted in 1982.

A copper 1982-D Small Date has been found, but so far it is 1 in 12 billion.
You Tube coin videos do more harm than good.

Sorry, but both of the coins you posted, 1982 and 1982-D are Large dates and are not rare. Michael K left a good explanation

Always hold your collectable coins by the edges. The oil in your fingers ruins them.
Your hands should be clean, and dry as well.

The odds of someone having a copper 1943 and a copper 1983 are so astronomical, you are most likely mistaken.
Someone who has one of the 20 (or so) known 1943's would have to buy one of the 2 known 1983's for that to occur.
The chance that you got these 2 coins in circulation by accident is pretty close to 0.
