Educate me. This is a variety, error, etc. What would be the price something like this would sell for retail?

Tyler, my friend.... where do you see serifs (hint, hint)?

Ok, you can see splitting of some kind. I always thought where the red Arrow points would be the serif?

In typography, a serif is a small line attached to the end of a stroke in a letter or symbol. A typeface with serifs is called a serif typeface. A typeface without serifs is called sans-serif or sans serif, from the French sans, meaning "without".Wikipedia

    SERIF

    SANS SERIF

Ahhhh. Thanks Kentucky!! I appreciate correctness! I looked up serif on google and it's kind of confusing how it defines serif.
    1. a slight projection finishing off a stroke of a letter in certain typefaces.

I figured finishing means the end of every letter or number. The slight projection was where i went wrong. They should have pictures, I think, explaining these kinds of things

Thanks books and Kentucky for the lesson. Appreciate it a lot

So I would say it like this "look at the sans serif"
Is that the correct way to say it?

Don't think I REALLY know what I am talking about, but I think what you should be looking for is a notch at the end of squared letters (E or such) but it is particularly noticeable if the type is a serif type. So "Look at the notching at the upper left of the E in UNITED" or some such.
