yes it looks like a die chip but I have counted 52 so far all the same, is this the right place to post these or should I post them under errors coins..thanks
It's unlikely that the die chip would have been immediately noticed, so it's likely that there are tons of them out there. I don't know if the two really compare, but when the US mints Cents, the presses look like machine guns going off.

Congrats on finding these, Burro. You're one of the few that made it through the "new guy that shows up with an error" hurdle with a legit variety. The fact that this ding is reproduced on multiple pennies, that it is relief rather than incuse, and that you couldn't just make this in your garage are all great things to look for.

You should do like the EAC guys and try to put together a progression of the die chip from its earliest to latest state. It would probably be one of the few times that a collector would be able to pull off such a feat with so many examples.
thanks great idea .does the die chip start off in smaller size and gets larger or the other away around,once I do this I will post the progression in numbers for as many I can ..thank you for your help
these are so far the the ones I found from from the smallest to largest,other 40 coins seem to fall in between I still need to check more I have in a bag
