I was coin roll hunting when I came across a coin that had the normal Lincoln memorial on the back but the front was smooth to the touch the is a lip on it and a few details can be made out I believe this is from warn down dies but I'm not sure can you tell me if it's real and it's value I made sure to weigh it and it weighs the exact same as a normal penny so I believe it's real but you guys are the experts.

Is the penny that penny that stuck to the stamp head or is it a penny that got stamped while another coin was stuck
My guess would be probably not, but I'm no expert on errors. I just happened to be reviewing a copy of the new Coin Digest, and it was open to the chapter on mint errors.
