GTG: 1885CC Morgan

    If you zoom in a bit you can see several hits right in the middle of the cheek that just looking at the image as is you can't see. I'll guess 64

    edit: also could see it at 58

    Thanks for playing everyone. Congrats to those who nailed the grade. I don't want this particular coin but an 1885CC in MS-65 is my dream coin.

    Haven't kept up with it in recent months at the time I bought this at what I considered the low end for 85 CC GSAs in 65. Was the only bidder at around $950-$990 somewhere (I know it was under 1k) from a seller who I've always received quality stuff from on ebay

    I almost bought at $1,200 a few months back. It was GSA too. Glad I didn't because it was baggy and at that price I would have been ripped off.

    That's why I was asking if it had the Doubled Dash (VAM-4, Hot 50). I sold my PCGS MS65 VAM-4 a couple of years ago for $1,250.

    I saw the coin on EBAy and posted it here. I couldn't get a better photo of the 8. I'd love a PCGS in 65.
