First, try this... "you are" = "you're", not "your", okay?

Second, you're laughing over another knowledgeable member reaching the decision that you're a waste of time and no longer wishes to help? Another brilliant move, Jewels, and over nothing....

Now, I'm guessing you're (see how I did that?) not familiar with pareidolia (Jewels, meet google), which, more often than not, explains what a majority of the less knowledgeable posters here see, be it doubled ears, to magically impossible anomalies, and everything in between. However, I fear the bigger issue here is that you simply don't care, and cannot even begin to fathom the fact your area of interest requires one to educate themselves. With each passing day it becomes more and more clear that expecting to see even a modest level of growth from you is an exercise in futility.

It's okay, the though; keep posting photos of and labeling very average coins as being "unique", and arguing with and/or laughing at everyone simply trying to educate and/or help. Soon enough no one will bother with you other than those of us who will show up simply to counter the nonsense, hoping to protect the new and genuinely interested from the rank ignorance you insist on displaying at every opportunity.

It's important that nonsense and false information, be countered. If not others will keep handing out that same nonsense to others. That's not healthy for the hobby or this site.
Nothing wrong with asking questions. That's what this place is all about. Folks need to trust that the information being posted here is the truth.

Ok so let me get this right ... Is that what you're calling stalking my post now booksb4coins ? You're following everything I post and even spell checking all my sentences simply to try and counter anything that I may have assumed wrong . LOL . And yes I do laugh at foolishness and peoples slick comments as you can clearly see that I'm doing with you right now . Lol . And I'm sure that anyone reading all my post can clearly tell that you're doing a tad bit more then simply trying to counter anything i post that might be wrong because you clearly seem to be a little obsessed with all my post in particular . In fact the only reason I say this is because I'm 100% certain that there are tons of other people who post coins in CT that they've found which may or may not be a Doubled dies and yet you are not stalking their every post in a effort to counter them as you attempted to call it ... But anyway the point I'm trying to make to you is . It's time to grow up ok . So enough already with all the slick comments and stalking . Because It's gotten really old man .... And as a matter of fact . If you're not capable of simply offering positive advice or helpful information without the slick remarks and slicks comments . Then just don't offer any comments at all because I'm sure that I can CONTINUE to survive life if I lose the knowledge of someone else that has deemed me helpless ....

One of the aspects of discussion within the rules, is that anyone ( since we are anonymous and no one knows the limits of each others knowledge) can agree or disagree with a statement a poster makes. It is up to each to provide the reasoning for their position. But it is no ones responsibility to have to answer any comment. If you or anyone doesn't like a comment made to them, don't respond if it doesn't violate the rules, if it does violate ~report it. No one can stop anyone else from reading their posts if one so post it. If I were to make a comment that Books disagreed with, he would say so ~ thats life. I can answer or ignore unless it is in the area of rules. Yes there are those that claim they have doubled dies, but most do not, I only answer ones I feel really wants the correct answers and good arguments rather than denials. Being wrong is not shameful. Some of the people on the forum I admire are those who can admit it and are happy to learn the facts. So put aside the frustration and take a breath. Jim

There are others, Jewels, but the thing is, most either disappear when told what they do not wish to hear, and the others do this really crazy new thing called "learning". Trust me when I tell you it's really very cool, all the cool kids are doing it, and to top it off, it's also a win-win kind of thing. Give it a try sometime, and who knows; you may just like it!

Seriously though, if you just want to post crap, labeling very common/average coins as being "unique", or that every other time you have change in your pocket it's magically full of doubled dies, or whatever other nonsense sounds fun at the moment, that's great. You just need to understand that someone is going to counter it, regardless of if doing so hurts your feelings. It's not personal, and do try to understand that for some, this hobby costs a substantial (to them) amount of money, and such people deserve our respect; their involvement in this hobby simply means more than your whims. If you wish to flatter yourself with delusions of stalking, or whatever other nonsense strikes your fancy, feel free, but what you're experiencing (from myself and others) is really nothing more than the predictable result of stupidity, and your infantile approach to this hobby.

Hmmm . Well I see that your still stuck in this delusion world of your very own booksb4coins . And believe me when I say it's ok . Because It's not the first time that I've ever ran across someone in life who feels that they are always right and know everything . But hey if that makes you feel better about yourself then by all means knock yourself out . Because at the end of the day nothing else really matters I guess . Now on a more lighter note . Since the Mod clearly gave you a break on the stalking tip which clearly put a little fire in your last reply . Then please allow me to shed a little sunshine on something for you just incase no one else has noticed this yet besides you .... You see for a little while now I've noticed that you keep implying that im referring to all my coins as being UNIQUE when infact I don't refer to all my coins as being UNIQUE . Infact I could be wrong but I think that the only coins that I have ever referred to as being UNIQUE are only the ones that I have been unable to find a indentical match to . And so you see this is why I say you should grow up and stop trying to create conflict in every one of my post . Because as the desertgem suggested It's ok to offer mature advice but unless you have your FACTS straight about what I'm actually saying then please please please chill with all the nonsense man . Because you are the only person now who is still stuck on the Unique coin post . And therefore clearly stuck on stupid .

You stole my mic drop idea.. I really hope you be quiet man... this is ridiculous! Your fights remind me of when i was a teenager fighting with my mom. Stupid punk kid mentality. Mind you I am not perfect, and have had my knuckles up when I shoulda been listening for education and not ego. but seriously just drop it. Just please. Respect books because he still gonna help the punk kids! I like books, he very smart guy. Very raw and tells it like it is, even if you can't take his advice as education instead of an offensive gesture, 95% of the time he probably right.

With experience myself I'll say you won't see the end of it, if you keep fighting. I'd be thanking him. Wish I had pulled my head out my butt enough to see that myself. Remember. You can't delete your online stupidity!!

Listen TylerG. I understand that you would like to take up for books immature ways but unless your going to be a man and be honest about what I'm saying then you probably need to mind your own take a seat somewhere and stop acting like that stupid punk kid that you're referring to . Because you see whenever people attempt to throw insult or slick comments at me I don't coward down and praise them for it I simply stand my ground and address them like a man is supposed to do . So please stay in your lane and READ before actually commenting next time ok . Because in order to receive Respect you have to give it first its just that simple . And you can call it online stupidity call it fighting call it whatever you like . I honestly don't care what you call it . But as the mod suggested if you don't like it then just don't comment .

Guys, you are trying my patience. I think if you read the rules, there are no provisions for members to unilaterally decide they can decide they have been offended and take retaliatory action.
    This applies to you also:

Jewels I think you are drastically slanting my remarks that you mentioned as

No one got a break~ just because you felt the comments were against you rather than him. You seem to think that your comments should be taken as you see them in your mind.

Have a nice evening, but it would be best to stick with the coins rather than trying to irritate or goad each other.

Duly noted . And to be quite honest Ive tried really hard to ignore all the constant smart remarks that are continuly thrown at me but i must admit that it is a little testing for me as well at times ...
In anycase . I do apologize Desertgerm if Ive acted in any immature manner . And from here on out I will continue to try harder to focus solely on the coins that I post rather then negativity which is so freely shared along with this great advice from certain seasoned members ...

Oh, Jewels.... as witty as ever, I see!

First, I never stated nor even implied (much less "keep implying") that you label "all" of your coins as being "unique". What I said, and I quote, was.... "labeling very common/average coins as being 'unique'", which is both true and can easily be proven by the handful of threads you've started using said term, even in the title. Reading comprehension is a good thing...

As for the rest, have you yet noticed how most of the guys who tried to help you early on have given up? Is this my fault too?

You can throw all of the tantrums humanly possible, and try to spin what I do into whatever makes you feel better, but it isn't going to change a thing, and I will continue to counter (what is quickly becoming intentional) nonsense at every opportunity. Again, there's nothing personal to it, but the fact is that you're misleading others and the greater good dictates that potentially harmful nonsense and/or misinformation not be allowed to stand without reasonable correction. If this truly bothers you so much, and you've no ulterior motives, why not simply make a minimal effort to educate yourself on the very anomalies you claim to be so interested in? This, along with the willingness to partake in honest discussion, would make it all go away, and I'd happily be the first to congratulate you for doing so.

If you want to talk coins, then please, let's do so. If you want and/or need help, and are serious about doing your part, it would be my pleasure to help in any way I can. As always, the choice is yours...

What books is referring to I believe, is the fact that when you say that things are unique when they aren't. It misleads people. Very simple. Don't call something that it's not. Reason? Well, lets just take this post. In the title you state "new 1991 double(d) die error Lincoln cent"
Okay so just say I am new, and I just found a 1991 cent that looks like it has a doubled die. I would go on google, type and type in "1991 double die error Lincoln cent" and most likely the first thing that will pop up is your post. That person will then look at your coin, and maybe see the same thing that's on your coin, and will most likely think they found a doubled die. This is something that I went through when I first started. And I too myself fought him about his opinion thinking he was just being ridiculous. I even told him to ignore me please. And he said No because he a good guy. He understands how difficult this hobby is. I remember this. I should have been listening to him. Even you thought it was a doubled die, so here is what I suggest. When you post things, you should just post the date, mint mark and say please help. If you are 100% sure it is what you are calling it, and know that for a fact, THATS when you should label it what it is.
No sense in calling something a doubled die when it's not. Misleads many people. And it's frustrating as you know when you think you have a doubled die because someone saw your post from google, and send it in for grading costing 30 bucks to find out that it's die deteration or plating issues.
