Yes, the majority of my Tets are at the link below. http://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=6412
Wow, very nice Tet, @Mat... if it is not the AVGVSTA, it is the TET OFFENSIVE you are doing so well with! Congrats combining an Augusta and your Tet collecting! I am a sucker for an Eagle, so you got them ALL! I only have this one Salonina, and one potin Tet: RI Salonina wife of Gallienus 254-268 CE AE Ant 3.61g 20mm Rome mint 267-268 CE crescent Deer Walking delta RIC 15 RI Carinus 282-285 CE BI Potin Tet Alexandria Egypt 19mm Athena Seated holding Nike
Yes, but what gets me is the variety of styles we can get. I have shown my nicer Salonina tet before but this year 11 one is really pretty wretched in style. Is Salonina the most common Alexandrian woman? I think so. That leads to the question which of us will be first to get the most rare Alexandrian woman. I really would like a Titiana (Mrs. Pertinax)!
All my three Saloninas are antoniniani. None are tets... Silvered antoninianus, RIC V 24, 2.700g, 19.3mm, Rome mint, 260 - 268 A.D.; obverse SALONINA AVG, diademed and draped bust right, crescent behind; reverse PVDICITIA, Pudicitia standing left, raising veil with right hand, transverse scepter in left hand,Q left. Billon antoninianus, RIC V 32, 3.444g, 21.8mm, Rome mint, 260 - 268 A.D.; obverse SALONINA AVG, diademed and draped bust right, crescent behind; reverse VESTA, Vesta seated left, patera in right hand, long scepter in left hand, Q in ANT in exergue. Bronze antoninianus, RIC V 57, 2.107g, 18.8mm, Mediolanum (Milan) mint, 257 - 258 A.D.; obverse SALONINA AVG, diademed and draped bust right, crescent behind; reverse FECVNDITAS AVG, Fecunditas standing holding facing, infant in right, child at feet left. As you can see, none of them in good conditions...
