    A Canadian Ten Cent

and the only year they issued them, a Canadian Twenty Cent (sorry for the bad photo, I'd retake but I'm not sure where it is at the moment....)

This one in in my "favorite coins" category. One of the first coins I purchased when I was working on completing my Dansco 7070. I had purchased another one but was unhappy with it. I took it back to the LCS I had purchased it from and traded up for this one. Dealer had graded as VF30 and I often wonder if I sent it in for slabbing how would it come back.

1857. The worn penny is a New Zealand token. They are kind of hard to find. New Zealand didn't have official coinage until the 1930s. also have a Prince Edward Island half penny in here. 1857 austria florin.jpg 1857 belgium 2 centimes.jpg 1857 netherlands indies tenth gulden.jpg 1857 new zealand 1 penny.jpg 1857 prince edward island half penny.jpg

@sonlarson I was thinking about this some more, 45 years is about as long as I've been collecting coins!
I started collecting when I noticed a 1911 Lincoln Cent in my change when I was 7yrs old (I'm in Canada) and thought, 'hey that's kinda cool, I wonder what else I can find....' Started off with mostly Canadian & American coinage but World coins kept showing up and eventually took hold of my history/geographic mind.
I've been finding 'kinda cool' coins ever since.

It does not appear cleaned like so many do. VF35 IMO. Nice coin.
