Chewmassa Now where could my pipe be?

So my question is pretty simple. Are canadian pennies dated 1997-2012 found in rolls worth keeping?

For most no, for me yes as I sell them in groups of 20 each or by the roll. At the rate Canada has been reclaiming them the past few years for their copper content, they will soon be as difficult to find as wheat cents are. JMHO.

The government has been taking them out of circulation (and still are I suppose though I've not seen one in quite a while) but I know most non-collectors I know still have many containers of cents if I ask them. Suspect I'll be long gone before they go up in value.
If you're asking regarding just copper content, no, 1997-1999 are copper plated zinc & 2000-2012 are copper plated steel so not much copper content in those years.

I know they have a low copper content so I'd been rerolling them. I was just wondering if they carry any sort of premium due to the reclaimation efforts.
