Old Rattler Dime - FB?

    Imaging a bunch of slabbed Rosie's today to put up for sale. This one was graded before the designation came around... looks like it might be FB to me but I'm curious to hear from the forum as I'm not too well versed in this series. Thanks.

    I know what a FB Merc is, but would be interested to see what a FB Franklin is.

    did you mean FBL (Full Bell Lines) regarding Franklins?

    Usually its FT (Full Torch) for Rosies.

    This one could go either way, there looks like there might be a slight spot on the 2nd column

    I saw that as well. Curious if that would disqualify it, though I reckon it wouldn't be worth taking out of the old holder either way.

    FT NGC, FB PCGS for whatever reason.

    Not sure if it go your way, but it might be worth more in the old holder.

    In general possibly, hard to say what it is from just pictures or how noticeable it is in hand. For a 48-S it would probably be fine, but like you said not really worth it since it's like a 30-40 dollar coin if it didn't upgrade as well and you'd lose the draw of the rattler.
