Ebay just forced me to switch to their new seller hub today. Horrible design! I can't even find half of the things I need anymore.
It's different, but I'm not disturbed by it . . . in fact, I think that I'll like it better once I'm used to it.
Is it the advanced hub or something like that? If so I also hated it and looked up how to switch back.
Probably. I had switched back as well, but today it forced me to the new one. I called, and they said I had not option to go back.
The main "My ebay" page has been switched over to something new, possibly just for sellers with a store.
Ouch I really hope they don't force it on everyone. I also recently had them change how my search results appear when I'm looking for items to buy which makes it much more difficult to look for things as they removed the option to show 200 at a time.
I'm probably about to jinx it but mine still looks the same. I would be perfectly fine if they completely forgot about switching me
I had to switch because they no longer let you relist more than one item at a time under the old format. With the new format, listing coins goes a lot faster, so that's a plus, but I don't like the new leaving feedback setup. So there are pluses and minuses.
Generally yes, but I've also learned that when ever eBay makes changes it generally just makes things worse for a seller
I don't think these changes are a reduction in service or an increase in fees . . . Merely a reorganization of existing features.
The change was made for two reasons: 1) Somehow eBay will make a little more money with the change. 2) They have a hugh staff of software engineers and the only way to keep them busy is to change (muck up) the eBay interface (look and feel or add/change/remove features) periodically.
