    This is a coin that I occasionally see in my searches and may one day pick up...as you said, this one shows the details of the design well. So among "problem" coins, it is a step above the rest.

    $125, because of, as ddddd pointed out, the details are there, the coin is attractive enough, and it's something I think folks wouldn't mind owning as a type coin. I personally like it, and the details grading doesn't bother me much on a coin like this.

    We have a winner! I purchased the coin on an EBay auction for $83.01.

    I only had the 1901 Morgan that was a Details Grade over on the Toned Thread.

    So someone else post something.

    Here we have a 1841-C $2 1/2 Liberty, with slight damage :angelic: I bought it raw for slightly above melt! I certified it genuine with anacs. How much did I sell it for? PCGS puts it at $2,000 in 35, $3,100 in 45.

    Right now melt is around $155. Depending on when you sold it melt could have been much different. I am going to guess twice melt at the time the sale was made.
