Now THAT is a flan!! I'm excited about getting my Frank package too. There will be a Tacitus DOUBLE-ant in there... did anyone else spot it? (Was listed as an ordinary ant.) Here's Frank's photo (he graded it EF):
Lucky for me. I suspect that somebody noticed because I certainly had to pay more than a run-of-the-mill Tacitus, but I felt it was still a steal at $110. (My high bid was considerably more than that.)
Certainly a steal at $110. I didn't notice it... I must not have gone through the auction list thoroughly. Even though I already have two XIs, I might have been tempted to try for that one too. It's an excellent example! Still looking out for an IA.

FAUSTINA II JUNIOR AE sestertius. SIDERIBUS RECEPTA(stars receive you), Faustina, as Diana, holding torch, crescent behind neck.
Yes but I feared there was a shadow of the X left of the one there (Franks photos are not always certain) and I have two imperfect ones (one a delta) now so did not chase it. I would like an IA.
Hmmm @Roman Collector , you have thrown me a loop. That is a nice Luna Lucifera. However, I have only ONE Luna-Lucifera RR Furius Purpurio 169-157 BCE Roma Luna Lucifera Biga Linear Frame murex shell Craw 187-1
My only Julia Domna Lucifera. Little dirty but still a happy member o' the family. @Roman Collector Who is Frank? I don't follow. Nice pickup though! @Cucumbor I like both of your Luciferas very much. The biga one is exceptional. http://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=6296&pos=0
I confirmed with Frank that it is an XI. (Phew.) It seems I was very lucky not to have had some stiff competition. Thanks, all!
